The AN-A1202U3 includes a USB 3.0 cable which transmits at 5 Gbps vs the USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps.  This means that you can transfer data at high rate of speed.  On top of that, since it doesn’t need too much power to run, the USB 3.0 provides enough power to the drive case to run the 2.5” HDD/SSD.  This is a huge plus since this is designed to be lightweight and portable, all the cables you will need to bring with you is the USB 3.0 cable.

When at the office or at home, just insert the enclosure into the rack and you will instantly have a super-speed SATA connection to your drive.
